Jim Bob McElroy, PLA Named 2022 Employee of the Year

Better Communities Collaborative President and CEO has announced Jim Bob McElroy, PLA as the Better Communities Collaborative Employee of the Year for 2022.

Each year, the Employee of the Year is selected by the Better Communities Collaborative team as a part of the annual survey distributed to staff towards the end of each calendar year. Team members nominate their peers based on their commitment to the BCC’s mission, accountability in the workplace, the resourcefulness with which they find innovative solutions, their ability to expand and grow, and their dedication to social responsibility.

BCC’s 2022 Employee of the Year Jim Bob McElroy, PLA is a member of the W&A Engineering team, a Better Communities Collaborative company comprised of civil engineers, landscape architects, land surveyors, program managers, and more which has been building better communities across the southeast since 1999. McElroy joined the W&A Engineering team in August 2010, making him one of the longest-serving team members at the Better Communities Collaborative. Today, he leads W&A Engineering’s Program Management department which tailors service packages to meet the development needs of our clients with numerous projects across several states and sits on the BCC Leadership Team as a spearhead for maximizing progress and growth, as well as a key role model for BCC staff.

Husband to Erin and father to Garrison and Wellsleigh McElroy, Jim Bob succeeds 2021 Employee of the Year Adam Bledsoe, RLS who was named for his commitment to the land surveying trade, the growth of the W&A Engineering Nashville office, and building better communities for all.

We’re so thrilled to announce Jim Bob McElroy, PLA as our 2022 Employee of the Year, and we’re excited to see him continue to be a prime role model for BCC staff with this new platform.
