Jon Williams founded W&A Engineering in November 1999 and the Better Communities Collaborative in 2021. He is a member of the Georgia Board of Landscape Architects and the Extra Special People Board of Directors. He was named the 2021 ASCE Entrepreneur of the Year, as well as the 2021 Go Beyond Profit Champion and a 2022 Georgia 100 Titan of Business. Under Jon's leadership, members of the BCC team has been serving communities and providing holistic services to clients all across the country for over 20 years.
A seasoned Operations and Engineering Market Leader, Jerry joined the BCC with over 30 years of experience holding strategic positions in several of the world’s largest engineering firms. Having worked with small businesses to global multi-billion dollar companies, Jerry utilizes his experience implementing mergers and acquisitions, sales systems, marketing, HR, recruitment, and research to develop high-performing teams, establish performance excellence, and optimize profitability.
Amy brings decades of experience to the BCC, having maintained client satisfaction and retention for clients with over 1,500 employees and managed Human Resource departments of firms with more than 450 employees in 11 states. As the Chief People Officer, she works to make the BCC an even better place to work, from one-on-one meetings with team members, leading conversations for career development, creating policies for the betterment of the team, and more!
Clayton is a passionate, highly disciplined executive leader and champion of leaders with over 30 years of experience managing nearly $200 million in revenue and $30 million in acquisitions annually, as well as growing new branch offices from zero to $18 million in the first year of operations. In addition to leading Mergers and Acquisitions for the BCC, Clayton also leads the W&A Engineering Nashville office which has already grown threefold and expanded into new market sectors under his leadership.
Scott leads the overall business development and marketing efforts of the BCC and provides economic development consulting services to clients. He has served on the local side of economic development in both Georgia and North Carolina, announcing over $1,800,000,000 in new capital investments and over 8,000 net new jobs. A “40 under 40 Rising Star in Economic Development” (Development Counselors International), Scott has worked with a full range of companies from startup to Fortune 500.
Swami joined the BCC with nearly 20 years of leadership and strategic planning experience. In previous operations and management positions for multiple large national firms, he lowered firm expenses by 15%, increased annual revenue by 28%, and procured 9% gains in productivity. A driving force behind ensuring operations align with mission and values, Swami works with the entire BCC team to oversee the planning and implementation of strategic action, business development, and budget management.
